HOUSTON (Wednesday, July 1, 2015) — TPC Group today announced it has selected 11 non-profit organizations as beneficiaries of the Tenth Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Since 2006, TPC Group’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament has donated more than $550,000 to non-profit organizations across southeast Texas. The Tournament is an integral part of the Company’s community investment program and has become a growing tradition among our valued business partners. Its increasing success has allowed the Company to continue its commitment to invest dollars into the communities where it operates.

Through an application process, TPC Group is able to develop partnerships beyond its fence line and demonstrate its support for the good work being done every day in the communities where our employees and business partners live, work and do business.

“In TPC’s fourth year to accept applications from non-profit organizations, the Company was pleased with the overwhelming response from nearly 60 organizations,” said TPC Group Director of Corporate Communications and Government Affairs Sara Cronin. “The number of applications received presented a sturdy challenge for the Charity Selection Committee, comprised of employee volunteers. They worked closely for many hours reviewing applications and making tough decisions.”

The Tournament, which will be hosted in the fall, will benefit the following organizations serving areas across southeast Texas.
